Carolina Gismondi de Bevilacqua

Carolina Gismondi de Bevilacqua is a Milanese architect and designer.

She lived for several years in London, where she completed Part 2 at the Architectural Association, after graduating in Civil Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan.

As creative director of KooZA/rch, Carolina focuses her research on critical discussions of architecture in a broad context, with a particular interest in the multiple aspects of unbuilt architecture. His interests range between architecture, art, design, lighting and communication. Since 2019, Carolina has defined the image of Artemide, both digitally and architecturally, developing interior solutions for residential and commercial environments. 

Carolina creates the modern Se|eS lamp for Artemide in the shape of a disc mirrored on both sides, which uses a continuous light positioned laterally to illuminate without invading the space.

Ideal for indoor and outdoor environments, Se|eS reflects the surrounding architecture, creating new perspectives and interacting with the dynamism of nature.

Se|eS can be oriented on the vertical axis, allowing the creation of multiple sets. The two heights from the ground and the suspended version capture different points of view and reflections, transforming the perception of space and creating scenographic landscapes.
